Change to the paid clicks section

You might have noticed today that 5 30QP clicks disappeared. They didnt go anywhere. The client wants us to send less daily traffic. We removed 5 30QP, but instead put 2 75QP clicked titled Miscellaneous Random Click.
So just to be clear dont be disappointed that there are less clicks. It is exactly the same value, but less work for you (which I hope means that more of you will actually click on the sponsored links).

We are going to have a weekly contest awarding several top score winners in various games tokens. It's a fun new feature at QR that's 100% free for members (the sponsored clicks, movie clips before the game and search results on the site pays for these prizes).
Every week we will select 2 or 3 games for you to play. You will only be competing against QR members. The highest scores in each game each week will win prizes/tokens.
What do you think of this idea? Are there any games on that portal that you think we should use for the tournament?

European Business Trip Reminder

As many of you know, I am going to Europe on Tuesday (Latvia to be specific) to a couple of business meetings and to meet the European team that I work with on the survey side. I will be back the following Tuesday.
Please note that because of the 7 hour difference, it may take longer to respond to emails. Also, note that the internet access over there is a lot slower and less accessible then here.
You might experience slower response rates to emails, but more importantly please remember the 7 hour time zone difference. I would suggest you email support@quickrewards.net instead of the Ticket System for faster response. Paypal payments should not be delayed (except the bigger amounts) since I don't process them.

Greenfield Price Decrease (Feedback needed)

Unfortunately we received an email from Greenfield that starting March 1st, they will be paying all their partners less because "We have been evaluating our overall cost of RTS (AKA: Opinion Surveys) and unfortunately, came to the conclusion that our overall spend has to come
down slightly to stay competitive in the Market Research Industry. Unfortunately, to stay competitive, we need to be more contientious of our costs, which has resulted in this change."
You will see this decrease on every rewards program.
At this point, QuickRewards as you know always offered one of the highest (if not the highest) incentives for Greenfield survey $1.05. With this incentive we made almost no profits because in addition to this we have up to $20 quarterly bonus and we receive a lot of manual credit requests for Greenfield which only alone (excluding the thousands in bonuses) adds up to a few hundred dollars a month which we dont get compensated back on. Almost no other rewards program compensates members for surveys that have errors that they dont get paid for.
What does this mean? Unfortunately we will need to reduce the value of the Greenfield surveys starting March too. It will only be a couple of cents decrease. Another option might be to keep the value the same, but to lower the quarterly bonuses (which we dont really want to do). We dont really want to get rid of the manual credits for missing surveys with Greenfield errors because that will just make people upset that they are wasting time.
So if you have any suggestions on how we should approach this please let us know. I know this isnt a great decision, but we are a business and need to adjust to the industry to remain competitive.
We really want to hear your feedback since it's a decision that impacts both of us and we need to decide as a "whole". None of us like this situation and we kind of both have to deal with it. I tried to negotiate more and it does not seem to be working.
Update: New rate will be $0.90. We are trying to get an increase from them so it might be more then this. Manual credits and bonuses remain the same. |

Vacation + business trip notices

I am going to be doing quite a lot of traveling in the next month. Tomorrow I am leaving to Puerto Rico on vacation for a week. Once I come back,2 days later I am going to New Orleans for an interesting convention that I think will drive us a lot of new business (not to mention a chance to meet Becky again since she lives in Louisiana). 2 days after I am back from New Orleans I am traveling to Eastern Europe for a week (Latvia to be specific). Outside QR we have survey panels in Eastern Europe and our whole team from that side of the business is located in Latvia. Going there to actually meet the people face to face after working with them for years.
During all these trips I will have internet access so there shouldnt be delays at all. Only do note that when I am in Eastern Europe the time zone is 7 hour difference so it might be harder to respond to emails faster, but I will update you all as we get closer to that.
Update: 2/23 leaving to New Orleans for a convention

Help us test a new email system

In order to continue providing quick customer service like we always have been, we want to make this process a big easier and more organized for us and you. We will be moving away from using a customer service email to a ticket system. This will allow us:
A) Organize the tickets based on priority and respond faster
B) Increase the chance of us getting your message if Comcast or another provider is having a bad day delivering them
C) Allow us to have another coworker help us answering emails quicker (we already hired Sophia so you will start to receive responses from her starting Feb and of course I will still be doing some emails too).
